Thesis Rafael Aguilar (ISISE Research Group, University of Minho, Portugal) Dynamic Structural Identification using Wireless Sensor NetworksThis work has been partially developed under the collaboration between CISTER-ISEP and ISISE-UMINHO. Within this context, CISTER has designed a WSN platform for real-time vibration acquisition, including a custom-designed signal acquisition board and the WSN communication protocol (open-ZB implementation of the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol). Building upon this WSN platform, ISISE has designed innovative data processing (operational modal analysis) schemes and performed extensive laboratory and field tests, enabling the validation of this approach against traditional wired-based measurement systems.
